 Painting an interior door is easy when you know the steps—just follow these easy tips for a flawless, professional finish. Start by getting your area ready. Lay down a dust sheet to secure your floor and belongings. Remove the door handle, tape over the hinges, and give the surface a good sand and clean. Make sure it’s completely dry before moving on. For the best finish, lightly dampen the door with a clean cloth and water. If it’s a new, unpainted door, apply a coat of Dulux Aura Wood & Metal Primer .
