How to Apply

You can use a roller or brush to paint.


Safety Tips

● Keep away from children.

● Use in a well-ventilated area.

● Avoid breathing in paint spray or vapour.

● Wear gloves and eye protection.

● If paint gets on your skin, wash with soap and water.

● If it gets in your eyes, rinse with plenty of water and get medical help.

● Do not swallow paint.

● Store in a cool, shaded place with the lid tightly closed.

● Do not pour leftover paint into drains or rivers—dispose of it according to local rules.


Surface Preparation 

Prior to painting with Dulux Weathershield, or any exterior paint, make sure the walls are prepared for painting:

1. Clear the surface: Use a stiff brush or pressure wash the surface to remove dirt, grease, or loose paint.

2. Treat the mould or algae: If the surface has mould, moss, or algae, treat it with Dulux Fungicidal Wash to kill the mould/moss/algae.

3. Repair cracks or holes: Use a filler designed for the exterior to address small blemishes.

4. Seal powdery walls: If the wall remains chalky after cleaning, apply one coat of primer.

5. Check moisture: Do not paint the wall until dry. Make sure wall dries completely before painting.
